Me & my camera

Sometimes people (potential clients) ask me if I shoot weddings or kids birthdays parties or book presentations among other things. I always answer the same thing. I don't shoot events, I shoot moments and those moments can be and happen at any type of event.

I love to capture situations, gestures, emotions. I'm a visual storyteller. Stories can be told with one person, 5, 20 or 200 and that's the reason why I don't think in terms of events because is how you see moments no matter where you are.

I love natural light so I shoot as much as posible with available light but when it comes to flash I like to make it look as less artificial as possible.

Since I have a strong background in street photography I'm always looking to those candid situations, when people don't realize I photographed them. It's about becoming almost invisible.

And of course I take photos of people and families posing, but because they ask me to and they also know that I do it with love and passion.

I've worked for 20 years as a graphic designer and advertising art director both in Argentina & Canada with the big companies such as Grey Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, JWT among others, so I do apply my visual experience in my photo sessions as well, from composition to colors.

I think my photography as a book, where once you start going through the images you know when and where everything started, how much happened in between and how it ended.
